Ladies, grab your hat and boots and let's do some wilderness travel on a four day horseback pack trip in the beautiful Scapegoat Wilderness! And its LADIES only! We will use our Meadow Creek camp as the base for our adventure travel. So saddle up and be ready for beautiful scenery and breathtaking views!

Day 1 - Pack Up and Ride
We will pack up at Indian Meadows trail head and mount up for the horseback trail ride to Meadow Creek camp. Since there is nothing like being in the fresh air to whet an appetite; you'll be ready for lunch and a one hour break when we reach Webb Lake Ranger Station.

Then its on to Meadow Creek camp. Now its time to RELAX! enjoy happy hour with old friends and new friends. Share chips and dips, soda and whatever. A hearty supper is ready at 7p.m., and after supper, there's a camp fire sing-along and stories for your enjoyment.

Day 2 - Relax
Plan to spend a quiet day, beginning with breakfast at your leisure. There's fly fishing, hiking and just relaxing -- or for those interested in horseback riding we saddle up for some adventure travel and see new country -- whatever you prefer. We'll have lunch, and after a family style supper, there will be some good old time cowboy stories.

Day 3 - Explore
Enough relaxing, its time for some wilderness travel and exploration. Bugle Mountain, Twin Lakes, Sourdough basin and the old gold mine on the Dry Fork of Meadow Creek are some of the destination choices for today. A good chance to see deer, elk, moose and maybe (if we are lucky) a grizzly bear (from a distance). Tonight at the camp fire you will have your own wild west stories to tell.

Day 4 - Head for the Rodeo
Rise and shine, and get ready to saddle up and let's head to town for the Big Timber rodeo! Today we take a horseback trail ride down the trail to Parker Lake, through the Burn of 1988, and see the new growth of pine trees and wildflowers. We'll take a lunch break at Webb Lake Ranger Station and stretch those muscles and relax a bit. Then off we go, to Indian Meadows trail head. We should arrive some where around 1 to 2p.m., at which time you will all be proclaimed COWGIRLS! That night at 7:00p.m. is the Big Timber rodeo. Come and see Ron (one our your guides) ride the bulls and see the K Lazy Three team in the Wild Cow Riding event.

Remember the horseman's creed:

"I'll leave no prints, take only photographs."
