Packing List

A successful hunt starts with proper gear. Weather in the Montana backcountry can be unpredictable, so it’s important to pack accordingly.

Clothing

  • Waterproof, breathable rain gear (jacket & pants)
  • Insulated hunting jacket and pants
  • Layered base clothing (moisture-wicking materials)
  • Warm gloves and hat
  • Durable, waterproof hunting boots (well broken-in)
  • Camp shoes or lightweight boots for evenings
  • Wool socks (multiple pairs)

Hunting Gear

  • Rifle or bow with appropriate ammunition/arrows
